Laima has been sewing professionally for 15 years here in America. Back in Lithuania, sewing was  Laima's occupation  since the childhood. She was working in Kaunas @ Incorporated Arts ltd. as an embroiderer of folk style clothing, gained a big experience of working with natural noble furs, owning a small sewing business as well. Ultimately she decided to share her designs and concept of fashion and style. Laima is a formal member of  Professional Association of Custom Clothiers since 2003

“My goal is to make customers happy with comfortable fit. My plan is to look at the possibilities to expand business in the near future. My motivation on the process of constructing the garment is to make the right pattern and personalize the garment with a right fit".

On November 07, 2003 Laima had a premier fashion show entitled "Style by Laima" .Her designs were published at the American-Lithuanian Word-Wide Daily newspaper "Draugas", displayed in The Lithuanian-American Weekly "Amerikos Lietuvis" and some other media in Illinois. She was showcasing  her costumes during the  Model Search 2005 competition, on October 29, 2004 at Radisson Hotel, Rosemont, IL. 2005 she crowned with Christmas party show at Ashton Place, Willow Brook, IL. In year 2006 she presented the first chapter of her Valentine's collection and was working hard as an apparel designer for Youth Dance Shows in Chicago & Northern Illinois.

Currently, started in 2008, Laima is continuing her education

@ International Academy of Design & Technology in Chicago.

Her goal is a Masters Degree in Fashion Design.
